• Why do people with tattoos have a lower chance of getting a job than people that dont have tattoos?
• Why do people judge others with Tattoos?
• Who created or designed the first tattoo?
• What's the best place to get a tattoo?
• Do artists give their customers vasoline after putting the tattoo on them?
• Is vasoline the best thing to use when healing a tattoo?
• Did artists in the past give any medication to their costumers after they were finish with their tattoo?
• How have tattoos developed over the years?
• What did artists use before ink was discovered?

What I already know

Tattoos now a days are mainly based on popularity and attention, but in the past people got tattoos for different reasons like scaring dangerous animals away, camouflage, or to worship a god. The ink that tattoo artists would use in the past was tar mixed crushed berries. The ink that tattoo artists use now is highly safe but you have to put on lubirderm so it can heal the wound. The way artist did tattoos in the past left the man or woman with scars or very bad infections that could probable cause them to die. The artist today have many different designs that they can put on someone,but in the past they had very limited designs. Tattoos  have been an important part of society sence they were first created. Some reasons to have them are better then others but all I know for now is that their everywhere and they'll be around for a very long time.

The Story Behind My Topic

The reason why I chose my topic was because all of my family members have tattoo's besides me and I wanted to learn all about tattoo's before I get one myself. I also wanted to do this topic because in the future I want to be a tattoo artist. When I start this research I wont just do it to get a grade, I'll also do it to learn and progress from this research. Hopefully by the end of this I-Search I'll  learn all about tattoo's and will be able to use this information in the future. Another reason why I chose to do this topic is because of my dad and how he loves his tattoos. My father has his a  fair share of tattoos, but he might have to lose most of them because of the nerve damage he has in his left arm called Atrophy. Atrophy is a nerve damage that make which ever body part that's injures to become numb, this also deteriorates the muscle fiber in his Bisep, which means that his arm's getting weaker than getting stronger. If the doctor cant fix his arm then they'll have to amputate his arm. If this happens then I already told my father that I'll get all the tattoos that he had on his left arm on my right arm as a tribute to him.
