Some of the most important facts that I have found in my research were these:

• The Origins of tattooing was developed in Polynesia
• Samuel O'Reilly created the first mechanical tattoo gun
• You can die from having a tattoo because of the ink an artist is not safe
• People that have tattoos have a lower chance of getting a job then people that don't have tattoos
• The safest ink to use is also the most expensive
• Tattooing had meaning to people in the past then they do now
• The meaning of tattoos were more about religion then they were in popularity, in the past
• Tattoo designs have developed by a lot since they were created
• There are over a billion of different tattoo designs in America alone
• Early Egyptian Pharaohs had tattoos to show there leadership
• Tattoo companies like LA ink have over 500 people come to get tattoos in a single day
